I saw a card on Pinterest that was made with your significant others thumbprint and your own thumbprint. So I took the idea and bought a mini canvas and mini easel from Joann's. It is a simple craft with a lot of meaning. My BF is my true love and my best friend. This small symbol adds just a little more love to home. His is on the left and mine is on the right.

BBQ beef sandwiches
Tonight I made a super easy and yummy recipe from Budget Savvy Diva. You take a roast, onion, garlic, salt and pepper and BBQ sauce. I added some worcestershire sauce. Throw it all in a crock pot and let it cook. So easy and delicious.

Navajo tacos on fry bread.
Tonight's dinner was really good. The tacos are easy to make and full of flavor. We added a little extra of the seasonings to make it a little spicer. The fry bread was delicious and it was easy to make. I highly recommend this recipe for a flavorful dinner.

Potato chowder
Tonight for dinner I made a crockpot potato chowder I found on Pinterest form food.com. This recipe is easy to make and inexpensive. That's the good side. The bad side is even topped with bacon, sour cream, pepper jack cheese and green onions it lacked flavor. The BF and I could not decide what it needed exactly but some sort of spice is what we are thinking. We will more than likely try it again sometime and decide on what it needs.

It will be fun to experiment with it.

Smoothie and homemade Chinese food.
Saturday was chaos. I had time to do pin just not the time to post it. Anyways, on Saturday I made a cold buster smoothie. It is one of my favorites. I have made a few times before. I found a while back when I had a cold and made it one time when a friend's kids had cold as well. It has lots of vitamin c in it.

For today's pin the bf and I made homemade Chinese food. The first pin is general tao's chicken from budget savvy diva. I am telling you her blog is great. This chicken was really good. I had to make a couple of substitutions. The first was the Thai peppers we used a Thai chili paste instead and we also added red peppers. It was yummy.

The second pin we made was homemade ham fried rice. It is super easy to make and tastes yummy. We add extra Thai chili sauce to spice it up. We really like spicy food around our house. This recipe is quick, easy and yummy a major win.

Ribbon crafts.
Today I made a DIY bangle bracelet made from an empty ribbon spool. You cover it with ribbon and then you have a bangle bracelet. I took it a step further and added a ribbon flower. So today i actually did you boards from my craft ideas board.

Lip scrub
Tonight I made a simple and cheap lip scrub. It requires sugar, honey, Vaseline and olive oil. It took me maybe 2 minutes to make. I buy almost of the ingredients at Costco so it was ultra cheap to make. I used it tonight and my lips were soft after.
The original pin didn't give instructions on how to use the scrub so I found another bloggers site with the same scrub and with instructions.

Of course I took a pic. It's the two yellow containers.
Also tonight I re-made the lip tint and it is much better with the regular Vaseline. It's the pink container.
