Sequins, styrofoam and pins.

For today's pin I took styrofoam balls, straight pins and sequins and made decorations for a vase I have. I did red, black and silver. They are good valentines day and also the color minus the silver of the Utah Utes! The tricky part of this craft is pinning the sequins on. It is time consuming. The pins aren't cheap no matter where I looked. I used a coupon at Joann's and that made them half price. Also used some from Walgreens but the ones from Joann's were better. The vase I have is also a DIY craft. I made it year or so ago. The vase is upper cheap because you can find the stuff at the dollar store. However mine was free since it came from a craft group where my friend Katie did it as her craft one time. I am thinking for the future of making some different colored balls for different holidays. Even the BF thought they look kinda cool.
The original pin was for ornaments. You can find a ton of pins for this on Pinterest. I couldn't find the one I originally pinned but this link shows the idea. I used cheaper styrofoam balls that I got for free at work.
